Job Description

The Brewery Logistics Manager plays a critical role in implementing and upholding AB InBev’s safety standards. You will manage the brewery and regional distribution, fleet & safety, inventory, and warehousing functions to optimize customer service levels and meet benchmarked productivity standards. You will implement standard operating processes in line with DPO and VPO standards and manage VLC, ZBB, and SCOH costs in line with annual flexed targets.

Required Skills & Experience

Fleet & Safety

  • Ensure a safe and healthy working environment for all stakeholders
  • Maintain compliance with OHS Act, Road Transport Act, and Governance Codes
  • Conduct quarterly safety reviews and annual risk assessments

Quality

  • Adhere to quality guidelines specified by the Zone
  • Manage DOC & stock age for finished goods inventories

DPO/VPO

  • Conduct Daily Logistics Meetings as per specified TOR’s
  • Track KPI’s and apply problem-solving tools for out-of-range KPI’s

Service Level

  • Maintain relationships with T1 & T2 carriers
  • Engage with Planning Team around glass availability and sales requirements

Cost Management

  • Drive adherence to flexed budgets
  • Assume overall accountability for Brewery Logistics spend

People Management

  • Align Shop Floor goals and meeting routines
  • Conduct Monthly One on Ones and maintain healthy industrial relations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
  • Professional certification in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Safety Management (e.g., APICS, CILT, NEBOSH) is preferred
  • 7-10 years of progressive experience in logistics, fleet management, or supply chain roles
