Job Description
As the National Consultant, you will serve as the pivotal link between our clients and the Tatu team, ensuring the successful engagement, support, and adoption of our AI-driven tools, Ona and Sikia, across East Africa and beyond. Your role will encompass coordinating field campaigns, managing client relationships, and fostering the effective use of technology in diverse field conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage client engagement across campaigns and pilots.
- Refine and apply the Ona Client Engagement Checklist.
- Provide weekly status updates and act as the single point of contact for clients.
- Coordinate issue resolution with Tatu teams and collaborate with breeding teams for workflow integration.
- Document feedback and lessons learned, and monitor and support Sikia pilots.
Required Skills & Experience
Education
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Sciences, Business Development, Education/Adult Learning, or related technical fields.
Experience
Minimum 3 years in stakeholder coordination, client monitoring, and technology adoption (preferably in agricultural research). Additional experience in customer support or service delivery, and capacity development or adult learning is required.
Technical Competencies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in coordination tools such as checklists, trackers, and shared drives.
- Organized problem-solving abilities and the ability to track performance and develop service frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in field coordination or digital tools is an advantage.

Work Environment
You will be based in Arusha, Tanzania, working closely with a multi-disciplinary team of experts in product development, Machine Learning, field operations, user design, and scaling. The role involves extensive interaction with clients and partners across East Africa and potentially beyond.
